Memphis is lacking in sufficient resources for its chronically homeless because there is no supportive ousting for the low-income to no-income poor.

Homeless shelters in Memphis are in constant need of supplies such as tooth brushes, tooth paste, dental floss, bandaids, underwear, cotton swabs, mouthwash, deodorant, baby wipes, socks, batteries, and feminine hygiene products.

Many shelters in Memphis depend entirely on the support of private donors.

We are students at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee and we started Shelter Connection as a way for local homeless shelters in our community to communicate their individual needs to the public, in hopes that more of those needs would be met.
